石盧(Shek Lo) was the place where I've spent 7 years of my life since I was born. This was my grandfather's big mansion in the countryside of Hong Kong. The little hut on the huge fish pond is basically a public toilet for the huge garden (park?). I really think that this was the best part of my life to spend my childhood in this magnificient colonial period house (with a strange mixture of western and Chinese style). This house has now been left empty and derelict. This place will be redeveloped. Feel so sad for losing it from my family. However, I am so glad that I could have spent part of my life with my grandparents in this big house. My grandfater died at 93 when I was about 7. I really wish that I could "talk" with him for myself being an adult. |
